Hydro Blower

The hydro blower story:

Until now the two choices for cleaning up on a job site (when water is preferred} are the water hose and the pressure washer.

The traditional water hose has less than desirable pressure (PSI) Between 40 and 80 pounds per square inch, but does have significant water flow, averaging 10 (GPM) and it has always been agreed the GPM in water flow Is what move the dirt and debris away from the surface area.

The average pressure washer has just the opposite, it operates with much greater pressure, anywhere from 1000PSI to 5000PSI but it severely lacks GPM Of water for ideal cleanup. the average pressure washer ranging 1 to 5 GPM of water.

Neither the water hose or the pressure washer is ideal for job cleanup when the goal is to loosen and remove dirt and debris that is created from the Current job site or any project that has just been completed. We call this type of dirt “new dirt”. the water hose can move it but struggles to loosen it and the pressure washer “in the wrong hands” Is more likely to loosen “new dirt” and “old dirt” causing more problems than it solves, And limited two an average of three GHP, it struggles to move the loose debris from the surface.

You could assist the hose with a stiff broom to improve its performance and you could assist the pressure washer by utilizing a water hose at the same time.

Both options involved two people doubling cost and wasting money.

Hydro Blower Installation Guide

  • Hydro blower attachment installation:

To accommodate the full range of different style backpack blowers the hydro blower attachment tubing has come disassembled from the valve so that the proper length may be cut for proper positioning on the blower’s discharge tube. (Please refer to the diagram showing proper placement.)

1st: Using the steel band on the valve body, loosely mount the valve on the air in end of the last blower discharge tube. Making sure its position on the tube does not interfere with the operation of the discharge tube.

2nd Once the position is confirmed, position the 2 barbed 90s attached to the valves tubing, On the air out end making sure they are located directly across from one another, (roughly 2 to 3 inches from the end on most tubes).

3rd Cut the tubing to the proper length to connect to the valve and insert the tubing into the control valve fittings until the tubing enters completely into the tightening collar. Once complete turn the tightening collar until it is tightly securing the tube.

4th Once the valve tubing is installed and final position has been determined Mark the exterior of the tube indicating where the holes need to be for the barbed 90s, Carefully drill two half inch holes, one on either side of the tube, making sure they are located directly across from one another, (and roughly 2 to 3 inches from the end on most tubes).

5th Firmly insert the 2 barbed fittings that are attached to the tubing into the half inch holes (As shown in diagram)

6th Firmly tighten the steel band securing the valve to the discharge tube.

Last

Carefully and firmly attach water hose to the valve and comfortably drape hose over your shoulder while using the blower.
